Will There Be BMW Z4 M Available Soon?

Fri Feb 25, 2005 4:18 pm

I am going to purchase a new BMW Z4 maybe next month, but if there is any news about the M variant, I might switch to it if the Price is right.
So any news will be appreciated. Thanx..

I read somewhere that there won't be an M version of the Z4 soon. Nothing related, but an M version of the 6-series and convertible is being made.

If there was an M version, then definitely the price will not be right!  Big thumbs up

No M4. But an M6 is next on the cards. Incidentally, got a load of the new 3-series sitting outside my office window prior to sale in the UK. BMW use our test track to try out suspension settings for the UK market. Always fun to see new stuff here long before they go on sale.

Is the new 3 on sale in mainland Europe yet?

German AMS actually reported that there will be a new M Roadster, featuring the next M3's 420HP V8. They're usually spot on when they report about possible future cars.

Consider also the M3 "Competition Package" with cross-drilled brake rotors, 19-inch wheels, and other features. It is an M variant for those who like to autocross. It might not be available in Qatar, however.

Wonder if that's the same as the lightweight CSL we had over in europe or whether its a special run out model before the all new 3 arrives in a couple of months?

Racko Can you please or any one else lead me to the "German AMS" web site.

I understand that the next M3 will have a V8 right!. Do you know the release date? I have a feeling that it'll be much more $$$$ than the current one which I can barely afford.
