I have a yellow lab but she lives with my parents since I moved into a condo. Indeed, I grew up with yellow labs so this is the 1st time I have not had one at home. Nothing like coming home from a shitty day at work to be greeted by a big floppy labrador.
Labs & Goldens are all the same. They love the snow -- playing in it, eating it, etc.
I'm totally a lab person. I can't pass one in the street without stopping to say hello. They all have the same personality. They act like pups until they are 8yo or so, and then get moody.
My labs all love cheese (I'm convinced they would keep eating forever if there was enough food around), they can clear a room with their silent farts, they give you dirty looks when you are late with their supper, they watch TV
with you, lie on your feet, lie under the kitchen table when you're eating there. And anything that falls on the floor....is their's. That's their territory. Your friends are their friends also. Oh ya -- the lab owns the house. We live with THEM.
I'd love to meet a 30yo blond chick with a labrador. My dream girl.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
