I can't remember the last time I laughed so much at a comedy series on TV
(except Phoenix Nights!)
Personal favourites are Lou and Andy
"Andy what happened?!" "She pushed me" "You EVIL Pole!"
"You said that ice-cream was the perfect complement to a hot Summers day"
"Yeh I know!"
And some of the Emily Howard sketches
"A dress for a bloke. A short fat bloke!"
Tom Baker's comments are just pure class.
"We have to end now because I need to poo"
Has to be said though, the sketches in series 2 with the lady who tastes jam and throws up everywhere are disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Vile, horrible and repulsive. I think that's why I like them so much...
I've spent so many hours laughing myself stupid watching Little Britain! I flew with BA
from Heathrow to Toronto in January (on G-BNLG - The Engine Failure 747!) and an episode of Little Britain from series 2 was showing on the TV
. I was flying on my own (and admittedly was feeling the effect of a few Corona's consumed at Wetherspoons in T4
). I swear something like 50 people sat around me must have thought I was mad. Every couple of minutes I burst into this ridiculous, uncontrollable schoolkid-like giggle. I couldn't help it. A combination of alcohol and Little Britain just have that effect on me!
Let's Do It!!

Edith in his bed, a plane in the rain is humming, the wires in the walls are humming some song - some mysterious song
