Just today I went out and bought a Samsung YP
-MT6 512 MB
MP3 player...it cost $120 ($20 more than the IPod shuffle of the same capacity) so far I really like it...I had considered the Ipod shuffle as well, but after reading the reviews, a few things turned me off, namely that people reported some problems with getting it to work on Windows based computers, also the fact that the only way to charge it is through a computer USB port, of which I only have 2, and enough to keep them busy without having to let an IPod Shuffle awkwardly sit in one of them...basically, mine, for $20 more, has a screen with an easy to use menu, sound equalizer controls, FM
radio, long battery life (40+ hours on 1 AA
battery!), almost as small as the shuffle, and "plug and play" music transfers..you don't need to use any specialized software to transfer music...just do it straight from Windows Explorer boxes...I highly recommend it if your looking for something with a fairly small capacity...its a really good deal overall...I wasn't in the market for a multi-GB player as my MP3 collection is fairly small, and I think this player is perfect...
