Brand New Busses Breaking Down Already?

Thu Mar 24, 2005 12:30 pm

http://www.barp.ca/bus/airporter/bwi0142.jpg note, this is not the newest bus model, just a picture for the heck of it.

they're not even three months old and, three of them are already off line! How do I know? I and my fellow BWI airport employees noticed this when we had to Hurry Up and Wait two days in a row to get from the remote employee parking lot to the terminal. My question being is it normal for brand new busses have windshield wipers falling off, busted headlights and other problems causing them to be pulled from service and during an extremely busy holiday travel week. invasion of the Easter Spring Break crowds
Are the busses lemons or, is it State of Maryland lackadaisical efficiency and management philosophy? Sad
