Sure, I've Seen It A Million Times, But.....

Thu Apr 07, 2005 5:26 am

We all have movies that we love. And love so much we'll watch them over and over, and over......

This thread is dedicated to the movies we'll stop whatever we are doing, and even if a Victoria's Secret fashion model tried to hand us a check for a million bucks, we'd pay more attention to the TV, than them....

For me, and in no particular order...

"The Adventures of Robin Hood" w/Errol Flynn
"The Quiet Man" w/John Wayne
"Airplane!"
"Blazing Saddles"
"Steel Magnolias" (Don't ask)
"The Naked Gun"
"Xanadu" (Ditto)
"Parenthood" w/Steve Martin
If you don't stand for SOMETHING, you'll fall for ANYTHING.

Old School is the first that comes to mind. I don't think I can watch that movie too many times.

Why is it that you can watch a movie or listen to a song over and over again but if someone tells you a joke you've heard before the first thing you say is 'heard it!'?

I think I would take the cheque and worry about the movie later, but if there is no cheque or Victoria Secret model around then I would probably watch any of these movies.

Or any of them really. they are all cult classics and an inspired concept in cinema. The Gods must be crazy in Hong Kong was pushing it, but still very cool.

Can't believe no-ne has mentioned Grease, it was on the other day here in the UK. Also Look Who's Talking, that was one too recently. Beaches is another one i've seen loads of times and my personal favourite, Shirley Valentine. That is a good pick-me-up film to watch.
