I just saw on Fox News a clip of PM Sharon leaving Israel on his way to Texas. What really struck me was to see the level of security surrounding Sharon.
We all know that Bush and Sharon must be the most guarded politicians on earth, and rightly so. Yet, even Bush's security tries to be discrete in some environments. Either TLV or a military facility, Mr. Sharon was in an Israel's airport, which are among the safest in the world. Yet, he was literally sorrounded by four bodyguards even when he was walking upstairs to get into the plain. I remember an old picture of Netanyahu on a beach with his family and, you got it, bodyguards around him even when he was just relaxing on the beach.
Well, we can just guess the level of stress that living under those circumstances can produce.
