Looks Like Icahn Is At It Again

Instead now he is pissing off NON aviation people.

Antioco Hits Back at Icahn

A war of words between Blockbuster CEO John Antioco and the company's biggest shareholder, Carl Icahn, escalated Monday as Antioco released a public letter to Icahn accusing him of creating "turmoil and uncertainty" among investors. The letter came in response to Antioco's recent blast accusing Icahn of taking an "unconscionable" compensation package, going on a "spending spree" with company money and failing in his effort to acquire competitor Hollywood Video. In his letter, Antioco maintained that his compensation was hinged to Blockbuster's performance and that he had in fact cut spending significantly.

He is a corporate grim reaper. Anything he goes near dies. I could see this coming for Blockbuster, now I know death is on the horizon.

I'm still surprised he hasn't run his casino properties into the ground.

After he killed TWA, in a most despicable manner, I fail to understand why anyone allows him to invest in their company as he has been shown to be a company killer and a murderer of the golden egg laying goose.

Public companies that are targeted by an investor like Icahn should develop strategies to poison pill themselves rather than have him buy his way onto the board.

Isn't he frickin' DEAD yet?

Lord knows he killed off TWA in short order, and made an abysmal mess of every other business he got his hands on . . . who the hell would let him get involved in anything else?

I have to admit, if I ever met that bastard on the street, I'd have a hard time not jacking him up.

I'd go to jail peacefully.
