1) Depending on usage, but somewhere around 2-3 hours.
2) Never quite enough to finish that important call.
3) Don't have one.

My camera: ridiculously little. I think it dies after about an hour.

1) Never run it all the way down
2) A good three days
3) Never done that, usually if I need to travel with it, I only watch one movie because they usually are shorter flights, but I have never run it down.

Laptop: Battery Charge circuit is kaput, has to be plugged in.
Cell Phone: a week if I don't use it, or maybe a day if used like I usually do.
DVD player: Plugged into an inverter for constant operation. (Not a portable, but it goes where I go.)

Quoting Airbus3801 (Thread starter):
1) 5 hours (PowerBook G4)

Explain to me how the hell you get that long out of your battery. My old PowerBook that broke over a month ago after 6 months of life got maybe 2 1/2 hours, max. Still working on calibrating the battery of this computer, and I'm sure I can't get 5 hours out of it.

My Cell Phone lasts about 2-3 days when not used, about 3 or 4 hours of calls. Usually about a 24-36 hour mix of the two.

Also don't have one, my portable DVD player, or PowerBook lasts just long enough to cut off the end of the movie on the airplane. I'm seriously considering the extra battery.
We're gonna do what we like to call a "jetBlue how do you do", which is slang for dumping a bunch of fuel in the ocean

1) 2,5 hrs; Dell cheapo laptop. Serves me well though!
2)12 days if not used. 3-4 days when used normally
3) Don't have one, just use the laptop  Smile

Laptop: I get 3 hours max out of my relatively new (bought it 6 months ago) PowerBook G4. Airbus3801, how do you get 5 hours?!

Cellphone: Lasts 4-5 days on standby, get about 6-7 hours of talk time.

Don't have a portable DVD player, use my PowerBook for that. The battery lasts about 2 hours when I play a DVD on it.

1-I'm not mobile enough, so I don't know. I would guess it's much like Wietse's, seeing it's also a cheapo Dell.
2-Depends on the frequency used. I'd say 2-3 days with a couple of 30 min calls daily.
3-Don't have one, so I'll us my TV's remote: I've had the TV nearly three years and only changed the battery twice.
Oh no, she's getting impatient! Take a stab at it!

I can only answer the second question.

About a week or so, if I don't turn it of under that time. And guess what. It's an old Ericsson T20 that I bought in 2001.

Laptop - 2 hours or so...anything more is luck...which is really annoying (memo to self: buy new battery)
DVD player - n/a (I have a DVD-ROM on my laptop, so I use that)
Cell phone - 2 days (if I'm lucky...my cell phone battery is horrible...I would replace it, but I'm probably getting a new phone at the end of the summer, so it's not worth it to get a new battery)

Laptop: approx. 5-6 hours. Thanks to the Intel wonder called Centrino, which actually works. Oh, the laptop is a Compaq I-don't-know-which-model.

Cell phone: 9 days, roughly. If I don't use the camera too much. It's a Motorola V600.

Portable DVD player: Don't have one. I have all kinds of portable players, but none of them will play a DVD. Maybe due to lack of an appropriate screen/display.  confused
