Anybody From South Germany Want To Drive To TLS?

Mon Apr 25, 2005 11:05 pm

I'm sitting in my room in Freiburg, reading the news... and I get this crazy idea: Driving to Toulouse in the night of tuesday / wednesday to witness the A380 first flight.

Now I know that from Freiburg alone it's 10 hours, and the round trip would be close to 2000km, so there would be at least 160 Euro in gasoline involved. I don't have a car myself, but I could rent a VW Lupo for 49 Euro per day, all miles and fees and insurance included.

Would anybody like to come along? The more people go, the cheaper it will get, right? We could start from Freiburg at around 18:00 in the evening, and I would pick you up at the train station here. Or does anybody have a car themselves that we could use?

If anybody out there is enough an A380 nut do do this crazy thing, let me know as soon as possible! Best call me (0761) 4799119, or send me an email!

Hope to see you soon!
