Who Do You Want To Survive Premiership Relegation?

Sun May 08, 2005 8:56 am

For me, the battle at the bottom of the English Premiership over the past few weeks has been more fascinating than the chase for the title. So with one game (and just 3 points) left to play for, who do you want to survive. Only one out of four teams can reach safety.

As things currently stand:

Bottom:
Norwich City......33Pts GD -29
-------------------------------
Southampton.....32Pts GD -20
C Palace...........32Pts GD -21
West Bromwich..31Pts GD-27

Personally, i would love to see Norwich survive, they have made a real fight of it over the past few weeks, beating Man Utd, Newcastle and Birmingham and apparantly putting in great perfomances during much of the season but just lacking the cutting edge. As an outsider, I also have a soft spot for Crystal Palace, I think Iain Dowie is one of the best new managers out there and nobody gave them any chance at the start of the season (much like Norwich).
Like a fine wine, one gets better with age.

Wish West Brom could survive it.
1. It is quite irritating to watch them getting promoted one year and relegated the very next, let them stay in the Premiership for 2 consecutive years,
2. They have Polish goalkipper- Tomasz Kuszczak in their squad (one of 2 Poles currently playing in the Premiership) who was playing quite good in yesterday's game against Man Utd.

I don't really know. I like West Brom, Norwich and Crystal Palace.. I guess I want WBA to stay up because I wrote them off at Christmas, they were way off the pace and it just didn't seem possible. Robbo really has turned them around. In truth though, I want Villa and Newcastle to go down with Southampton... Big grin
