Great choice! Anthony Jackson's bass line on this song grooves like hell. The Nightfly is a superb album.

Favourite 5 songs? This is difficult! My favourite songs change constantly, but at the moment they are probably:

The Magdalene Laundries - Joni Mitchell
Shenandoah - Bill Frisell
Darkness - Peter Gabriel
Healing Hands - Marc Cohen
Riley B. King - Keb' Mo'

These 5 will be different in a week's time!

Agreed! I have it in just about every format it was offered in. Vinyl...1/2 speed vinyl master....CD...tape.....

I drove from Tampa FL, to Houston TX in December of 1982 (20+ hour drive), and that stayed in the tape player the whole way. An incredible album....

5. Africa - Toto
4. Clocks - Coldplay
3. Sailing - Christopher Cross
2. Southern Cross - Crosby, Stills, and Nash
1. Tonight, Tonight - The Smashing Pumpkins

The top three are my all-time favorites, but numbers 4 and 5 were harder to choose. I think the fact that I am listening to Africa as I type this may have made myself unconsciously rank that as number 5. Although not represented on my above list, Fleetwood Mac is my favoite band. They have the most songs that I like.

The song that I will always love and never get tired of hearing is "Danger Zone" from TOP GUN. I have always been a fan of Green Day and other punk/metal bands. I am also in favor of these new British bands that are showing up here in the States.
