Been there before. It's HUGE!

Guess it will hold the title as the largest casino/hotel on earth for quite a long time

I've stayed there 3 times. It is massive, particularly the casino floor area. I did enjoy my stays there, though. They did a wonderful job molding Hollywood with vintage Vegas.

It depends on who's doing your PR. Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut claims to be it. They have 340,000 sq ft. of gaming space, 1,416 rooms and suites, and the total size of the Foxwoods complex is 4.7 million square feet. And are planning to expand by 2 million square feet which will include an additional hotel tower, a 4 story parking garage additional gaming space, resturantants, and entertainment options.

The Venetian in Las Vegas also lays claim to the title as well, but in reality only if you throw in the Sands Convention Center, which was the only thing not imploded when the Sands was imploded to make way for the Venetian. They can lay claim to being the world's largest hotel/convention center, but their casino, at 110,000 square feet is smaller than the casino space @ MGM Grand (171,000 square feet).

Like everything – it depends on how its measured.

In terms of rooms, it’s the MGM Grand at 5,005.

Overall, gaming floor and number of machines, it’s Foxwoods.

The largest in Las Vegas in terms of number of machines is actually Boulder Station – one of the few casino/resorts I have never been to in the valley.

MGM is 5 star right?

Heard that Mr Lui owns Bellagio, Venetian and MGM. He is from Hong Kong.

Nope.

The MGM Grand and the Bellagio are both owned by MGM-Mirage, a publicly traded company.

The Venetian is owned by Las Vegas Sands Corp. also a publicly traded company. They own The Sands Macao and the Venetian Macao that is currently under construction.

Guess Stanley Ho owns a number of casinos in Las Vegas.

Not sure about Lui. He has a few casinos in Las Vegas I am sure. Not sure if he owns MGM Mirage
