I have a question that has been on my mind quite a while. I was going to ask my doctor about it, but first I will post it into the most trusted forum on the internet, right next door to the How Big Is Your Phonebook and Official Miss Universe thread!
Well, my problem is like this. At certain times I feel that my heart is slightly out of rhythm, which means that after beating regularly for a while, there would be something like a half thump in between, and then it continues normally again. The strange thing is that this ONLY happens when I lie down to sleep, and only for a couple of minutes afterwards. It definitely has to do with going from vertical (standing / sitting) position into horizontal position. After I'm in bed for about 5 or 10 minutes, all is normal again.
Let me add that I'm 23 years, non-smoker and non-drinker, with no records of heart disease in the family, I do regular exercise (half hour of jogging every afternoon), eat more or less healthily (ok there might be some McD's every other week) but generally I think I eat ok, with little fat. I usually drink fruit juice, water or diet Pepsi (a lot), I'm not stressed most of the times, and I avoid flying on russian-built planes.
Can anybody give me some advice? Is this dangerous? Has anybody experienced any similar condition?
Thanks a lot!
