What's In Your Wallet?

Tue Jun 07, 2005 11:35 am

So... everyone is posting threads about everything and why not one about things that you carry in your wallet.

Mine has my driving license, my ISIC card, my college ID, a credit card ok another friend (it was useless to him so he gaved it to me as a gift), one of those paper that has your weight and height ( from a friend as well, I was supposed to show it to him everytime he started eating). My discount card, money and money from around the world ( Swiss francs, US dollars, Euros and Reales).

How about yours?

Alaska Drivers License
Military ID Card
Police ID
Visa
EMT ID Card
Emergency $50 Cash
Concealed Firearm Carry Permit
Voter Registration Card
US Military Code of Conduct

I keep very little in the wallet. Cash is in front right pocket for easy access. All other cards, Frequent Flier Cards, Car Rental Cards, Credit Cards, etc are at home and only get hauled out if necessary to use them. No sense in hauling all that plastic around.

Condoms don't last forever Taken from http://www.dummies.com

Some men carry condoms in their wallets on the off chance that they'll get lucky. That's OK as long as you think of that condom the way you think of the oil in your car, which should be changed every 3,000 miles.

There is no set time limit on how long a condom can stay in a wallet before it should be declared damaged goods. That depends on a lot of factors, including how hot it is outside and how big a tush you have. Experts say that a year is way too long, even if you're a skinny guy living in Alaska.

By the way, this advice doesn't only apply to wallets. There are a number of places a man may keep a "safety," including the glove compartment or trunk of his or his parents' car, his lunch box, his tool kit, or his kilt. Whatever that place is, if it is subject to extremes of cold or heat, assume that, after a while, the condom will no longer be reliably "safe."
