Customs & Excise In The UK

Fri Jun 10, 2005 5:46 am

What happens if Customs seize something that you have ordered from abroad?
Do they inform you, fine you, or arrest you?  Confused

It's just I bought some pepper spray for my trip to South America, and realised that it's illegal in the UK.

Optimistic as always, aren't we?

I think you should just ask the police whether you need to do anything; after all, they can hardly assume you meant to do something illegal if you contact them before they contact you.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.
