Relocating To Another Country? (USA -> EU)

Sun Jun 19, 2005 6:20 am

What if someone wanted to move from the USA to another country (somehwere in the EU) in a few years. How would they go about doing that? Is it necessary to get dual citizenship? Are there requirements that you must meet before moving?

Have any of you ever done just that and if so how do you like the transition? Was adjusting to the language very difficult?

I did extensive research on settling in the UK a couple of years ago. There are several ways that you can enter/work/settle in the UK and the EU, but naturally some are better than others.

Email me or IM me through my profile if you need info on how to work and settle in the UK. It is too much to type or explain on a thread.

cheers
