Quick Paris Metro/ RER Question

This is a very quick question but does anybody know the nearest metro station to the arc de triomphe?

Etoile. Charles de Gaulle, that's the station for the Arc de triomphe. Line 1 i think, yellow, blue (2) and don't remember which other one. Hope it helps

Yeah well Etoile means star in French. And Arc de triumphe looks like a star from above, around 12 avenues arriving in the same point.

It's a bit tricky, I know hehe

Well, considering the station is right at Etoile, it does make sense. If you want to take a little stroll, you could always get off at Franklin D. Rosevelt and walk up to the Arc.

Well, the Arc is not really the one that looks like a star, but the streets that meet up there

Yep, the Arc de Triomphe is located at Place de l'Etoile, hence the name "Charles de Gaulle-Etoile". Anyway everything in France is called Charles De Gaulle, so...
