Nice to see I have migrated away from top poster on civ-av and am on my way to becoming top poster on non-av. Though it (anyways) means I need a life, is this implying I am growing up?  Silly

How do you people post so much on A.net? I spend a lot of time, or at least I think a lot of time on a.net, while at work (yes, multi-tasking comes in handy here) and when I get home until I go to bed, and I've never been on a list of top posters, that I am aware of. Anyway, congrats I guess to those who are the top posters.

I'll say this much at least my posts in the av-photo forum are somewhat constructive and not a waste of server space like this one.

Just because you are on the list doesn't mean you have a life. Remember, a lot of people spend time reading a lot of posts while others write. This list really doesn't mean anything about how much time you spend on a.net.

I guess some people feel inclined to respond more than I do. I'm more of a voyeur when it comes to A.net.

While I am frequently on and post on A.net, especially in the GenAv and NonAv areas, at least I have a life and a job and not on that list of shame  biggrin

It's a dubious distinction at best, I take no pride in it. I think the thing I have a problem with is that I'm ALMOST exclusively non-av where as some of you others distribute more to other forums. I'm not a good photographer, so why waste my time there? I'm not as educated as most in civil av, so why waste my time there? I'm not even close to competent to post replies in tech ops, so why waste my time there? I have a CLUE about military and space, so I do occasionally post there. Non av is almost all BS anyway, but it's entertaining, and I'm very comfortable with most of the things I have to say here..

To me, this says that I'm working way too hard.

I need to make an effort to slack more.

I am a Technology consultant, so I travel every week. I spend many nights in a hotel room, very very boring.

Posting on A.Net keeps me out of trouble and my expense account under control!

I am also in the middle of integrating several huge databases from the 3rd largest Telecom company in the US. I would go crazy without A.Net

Hi guys.

>>Gkirk, I have a question for you .... or anyone, based on this statement.

Quoting Gkirk (Thread starter):
Top posters in each of the main forums this week:

Why is the Tech/Ops Forum not considered a main forum - in your eyes? If your reasoning is based on the number of posts in a 24 hour period, then I understand why you only picked 3 forums, but the quality of knowledge that's learned in that forum (where I spend 90% of my time reading), is excellent!

IMO, the Tech/Ops forum IS a "main" forum! I'm sure Johan Lundgren - the Founder and President - would agree. I believe that's why it's up high on the forum list.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting down this forum or any others .... I LOVE this forum too ...... you guys & gals in here keep reminding me everyday that people are a laugh! Big grin Which is Great!

I'm just saying that the Tech/Ops forum is a "Major Player" in this website.
