Desperate Housewives.

Sun Jul 03, 2005 10:21 pm

Here in Israel Desperate Housewives went on the air a few weeks ago. I'm really curious to know why did Mary Alice kill herself?
Was the mystery solved in the US?

Thanks,
Sam.

Who cares about who killed themselves, most guys watch if to see the ladies (especially Eva Longia and Terry Hatcher....mmmm). These 'soap operas' if you notice seem to put down the better off, showing them as flawed as the rest of the society. I also feel programs like this encourage a unhealty lifestyle (adultury in particular) and outside the USA showing the USA in a very negative (and partially true) way.

Well, LTBEWR, your remarks above do more damage to the image of the US than the show ever could... Big grin

I feel that you are a typical American Prude. I don't watch DH because I just think it's too contrived; but I will not for a SECOND deny ANYONE their RIGHT as an ADULT to CHOOSE what they want to watch. You make your statment as if the French don't allow BARE chested women on night time TV..
"showing the USA in a very negative (and partially true) way." They LAUGH at us because how how prude we are.. just about the only people who don't think we are prudes are muslims.

That show has a plot? I thought it was just an hour of MILF worship.
Things were better when it was two guys in a dorm room.
