My D-Day Is Tomorrow

Sat Jul 23, 2005 8:43 am

Hey everyone, once again I'll use the forum as a blog lol.

Tomorrow is my D-day at college. This is because I have my Math test tomorrow at 8 am. For 6 weeks I took this summer course to recover in the Math courses, and tomorrow IS THE DAY.

Why?

Because IF I FAIL (which let's really really really hope not) I'm gonna be kicked out of college. So that's REALLY freaking me out.
This math course has given me a headache for half a month. Last semester I failed (which was totally not expected, as my grades were fine) and I had to cut my trip to Brazil into a half and miss tons and tons of things. SO NOW I REALLY HOPE TO PASS THIS F"#$#$G TEST.

I really feel I KNOW EVERYTHING. But I think I have a concentration problem, cuz I alway miss the small details which lowers big points. Plus the teacher hates me, or something similar. Cuz I have this friend that always get's an excellent grade on homeworks and tests, while I have EXACTLY the same thing (not from copying lol and she always got higher grades.

She's just like OBSESSED with everything being perfect and it's like ALL or NOTHING. So that really frustrates me cuz I know I know how to do things and whatever and she says it's wrong cuz there were some numbers flying there and she got "confused". Which in my opinion is pure BS.

So let's just hope she doesn't get rough and tough tomorrow with the test

Her husband is a pilot, so she has to be softer with me

But anyway, I feel prepared, I'll keep on studying just to be even more prepared. I know everything by heart now...

Would be glad to read how I get flamed with this thread. But it's Friday so...anything's possible in this site.

ONE THING I DO KNOW : Tomorrow starting 10 am. Ill be drunk for days.

So I'm probably gonna wake up sleeping the the neighbors garden or something.

Cheers

Alonsou

You know, there is something about mathematics that just brings out the black or white, all or nothing, absolute, literal, anal-retentive-hyperdrive in its practitioners and teachers.

Good luck for sure!
Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.

Not much to add, except... good luck.  thumbsup

And if you plan to be that drunk after the test, you might as well send a bottle of tequila down here... it will be greatly appreciated. Big grin

Saludos
Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

hahahaha lol I know it's ALL or nothing with maths, the result is one always. But this teacher is obsessed about the way you do things.

Last final with her I solved some equations with logic, and she failed me cuz I needed to use the other logic. And stuff that's really annoying and special about this teacher.

Listen.....if you keep on worrying about failing and not doin good then you'll fail and be kicked out, simple really! If you say you think you've done all you can, then relax, take a breather, have a few drinks, go to an airport and just bloody relax! If you fail....i never said any of this. If you pass, congrats.....you owe me a LARGE rye and coke.

Sh!t happens to all of us but some don't care!  Smile

Hahaha I know shit happens, I'm still very nervous about the results tomorrow. I think I did well but I still have the pressure from the WHAT IF's. Whatever, the thing is I hope I can invite you that LARGE Rye and coke.

I also relaxed yesterday, after the test, at night I went to see Armin van Buuren so I finished very...drunk and whatever comes with that lol.

Anyway, tomorrow we'll know  Wink
