How To Time Change?

Tue Jul 26, 2005 5:12 am

Hey all,

I just bought a new desktop clock/radio/cd player. Trouble is, after I plugged it in, the time just flashes "12:00" at me... in a real mocking tone. How do I change it? Should I be worried?

When all else fails, read the instructions.

Don't expect to see me around that much (if at all) -- the contact link should still work, though.

Oh. Shoot. After I removed the radio, I tore up the box and all the associated paperwork with my teeth and used it as fireplace kindling to heat my igloo.

Any other suggestions?
Thanks though.

Tape over it.

But I gotta tell you I'm going to start charging for this advice.

Okay one last freebie: Use electrical tape, not Scotch tape.

If your so dumb that you have to post here before reading the instructions then us telling you to read the instructions is not going to help you.

Usually you press the button marked time, then the button hour or minute pressed down at the same time then it will change the time.

I do know that YOU misspelled the word "your" within your post. It should be "you're" (you are). Your sentence is run-on, and you should consider a period (.) or a comma (,) to separate your thoughts.
Now, who is the dumb one?
But, honestly, this is not an English lesson... My clock needs fixing... or whatever.

I think it is nice to have 12'o clock all the time. If you don't like it, eat it or use it as a condom.

For all the english lessons in the world you should be able to figure out how to read a friggin manual.

You could always check the 'net to see if the manufacturer has a site and instructions..

If all else fails, there should be a button that says 'Clock' and two more that say 'Hour' and 'Min'.. should be able to set the same by holding down the 'Clock' button and pushing the 'Hour' and 'Min' buttons to the desired time..

At least, that's what I'm guessing..

A stopped clock is right twice a day. Buy yourself a watch, set the alarm for 12.00 and when it goes off look at the desktop clock. This will give you the exact time and you will feel that you are getting your money's worth from it.
