Leaving On A Jetplane

Sat Jul 30, 2005 6:38 am

I heard this song on the Southwests Airline show, and for the past year I have been out looking for this song and I cannot figure out the artists name, any help would be great.

Thanks in advanced

Written by John Denver. Most famously sung by Peter, Paul, & Mary.

The "Airline" version was recorded by singer Jimmy Coup and musicians Steven Miller and John Fields specifically for the show.

Cool! He's from MSP !

My mum associates this song with me. Every time she hears it she starts crying  worried . I left home not really on a jetplane but to work with jetplanes. But I think it's a nice song and I know my mum thinks of me and is proud. Is there anything better?  airplane

A very beautiful version of the song is done by Chantal Kreviazuk. If you really like the song, I encourage you to look her up!  Smile
