What Is Canada Hiding Out Here In The Woods?

Fri Aug 12, 2005 3:31 am

Just ran across something interesting on Google Maps.
Go to
http://maps.google.com/
Type "Hearst Ontario" into the search bar.
Select "Satellite" and drag yourself north/northeast toward James Bay (the southern end of Hudson Bay)

In between Hearst and James Bay you will see what looks like a runway, say roughly 110/290 orientation. Zoom in on it and you will see that it is pasted over the image, censoring whatever lies below it.

It is far too big to be just a runway, it must be fifty miles long. Anyone know what's there?

5 billion beavers? Now we know how they can export that much wood.

Edit

Are you talking about this? I think it might just be an error in the photos, happens every now and then. There's not exactly a point in editing this into the photos at all zoom levels, so it could be some thing that obstructs the photo.

Thats a lot of fur coats. All of those beavers wont have enough wood in Canada they might migrate south.

Slamclick was also referring to the $5billion that U.S. owes Canada.

Nothing is being censored, it's just that there is not any data for that area once you get to some levels of zoom. An example (just zoom in until the screen goes gray):

Sure thing, I read that thread and tried to keep it off topic but alas to no avail.

Not correct. I'm well aware of the varying levels of coverage but the OBJECT to which I refer appears (looks like a runway) when you zoom out and clearly becomes a graphic overlay eventually showing a repeating pattern almost like snakeskin.

Check it out yourself.

If you look carefully it's transparent in spots, particularly on the right. Probably some kind of photo or negative adhesive tape...

SlamClick - please click on "Link to this page" at the top right of the Google map and paste in the address so we can see what you're seeing. That's my part of the world and there may be old Pine Tree Line sites up that way, but I can't think of anything else. If it is the thing in Algoes' link, that's got to be an error. There's nothing out in that area except mosquitos, black flies and moose.

ScarletHarlot how ya doin'?

Hey, easier than that: Scroll back up to Aloges reply #3 and click on the hypertext "this" in his last paragraph. Take ya straight to it.

Looks rather like a runway, then zoom in and out.

Yea, its a specially constructed 50 mile long snakeskin runway for UFOs to land on. Apparently the snakeskin helps them bring their lightspeed transporters to a stop in a much shorter distance......

The canadian government were hoping to keep this a secret....but now youve gone and blown it  Sad

Its an army of beavers that is hiding waiting to attack the U.S. just in case they dont pay the $5 billion.  rotfl

It looks like something zoomed by the satellite or something was in front of it when it passed throught that part of Canada.

So it is that thing. Well, I can pretty well assure you that there's not very much up that way. There's not even a Pinetree Line station under that thing. The thing is so massive it cannot possibly exist. So, is it a graphic put there to hide something? I am quite sure that it is not. I've driven through that neck of the woods several times and even on highway 11 there's not very much to see. My opinion is that it's a flaw in the photos or the database or something.

It could, of course, be a giant CHEMTRAIL!!!

While I'm at it, here's a website about the Pinetree Line. The closest two stations are at Lowther and Pagwa but neither are anywhere near that thing.

http://www.pinetreeline.org/

There's a couple of pictures of my dad on that site.  Smile

Cool! Closest I've got is my old Ford pickup sitting down the hill from my house. I must have been around somewhere.

I meant that my dad was on the Pinetree Line site, not Google maps. He would be hard to see on Google maps - especially since he was cremated nine years ago!  Smile

You know there is the legend of the Avro Canada CF-105, specificly the 101 prototype being hidded by the RCAF from that idiot Diffenbaker who ordered the program canceled and all the planes, plans and components destroyed.

You may have found the hiding spot.

You must have meant 50 kilometres, in which case you're almost exactly right.  Wink

As for the artifact, my guess is that there was something blocking/interfering with that part of the satellite's sensors as it passed over that area and took the image. However, I say that knowing really nothing about how these satellites work. But it oculd be an explanation for a long, straight aberration on the image. And the 'size' wouldn't really mean anything in this case.
Next flight.... who knows.

Thanks, I've been making that very argument (with varying success) for years now.

It's a problem with the software/image processing or just missing data. There are other places where this can be seen as well:

http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=6.800...20&spn=2.367892,3.376373&t=h&hl=en

Here's a closeup:

http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=6.800...20&spn=0.074002,0.105512&t=h&hl=en

Actually, this happens all the time with orbital scanning, as demonstrated by these images of Venus & Mars, respectively:

http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpegMod/PIA00461_modest.jpg

http://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/jpegMod/PIA07993_modest.jpg

What's the alternative, that the Canadians, West Africans and little green men are up to something sinister?  stirthepot   Wink
