Article: A Credible Plan To Take Down The Internet

Tue Aug 16, 2005 12:39 pm

I found this article interesting. Could you imagine what would happen if most of the internet just crashed one day? I'd suffer from some bad withdrawal. crazy

How would your life be different if the internet just crashed for a week?

Since I wouldn't have to work, I'd probably just go to Mexico and enjoy the beach.  Smile

What about you?

If the ENTIRE internet went down at the same time, I think all major businesses would shut down. I know Airlines use the internet for almost everything...

God forbid! Most of my teenager students would commit mass suicide, and I could end joining them.

I'd visit the closest bookstore and get four or five good books.

I would probably turn on tv and see if there's a game on, either that or watch the news coverage.

I'd make sure my other electrical equipment (media and communicative devices) still worked. Then I'd hit the fridge, hit the grill and wait for the geniuses at the NSA figure it out.

I'd start selling bottled water and other perishables at exorbitant prices, along with gas masks, duct tape, and guns. I am an entrepreneur.
