okay something funny happened to me tonite. we had some whiskey in the freezer left over from a few nights ago, so i put some of it in my pepsi tonite. I got online and i started talking to a girl i know relatively well. a few weeks ago she was having problems with her boyfriend, and when she was drunk she told me that she wanted me and wanted to cheat on her bf with me and blah blah blah. I took it for what it was (meaningless drunk talk) but i wasn't sure if there was some sort of truth behind that (that perhaps she might like me), so anyway i asked her a few days after that if she remembered sayin it (by this time she had made up with her boyfriend and all was good) and she said she didn't remember saying anything to me, so i informed her of what she had said and she denied it all and told me i was lying about it and making it up....
yeah, not very cool. that would be a ridiculous thing for anyone to make up (her exact words were "(come) fuck me") and she still insists i was lying to her. well tonite i started saying more stuff about it (like "so tell me again why you told me to come 'fuck me' and now you're back with your bf") so anyway as you can imagine we got into a big argument and yada yada yada i don't think we'll be talking again any time soon. anyway, she did what a lot of teenage (19) girls would do, she told her boyfriend. So now i start getting im's from this dude bragging that he has won or something, whatever. so smartass me i have a livejournal and made a somewhat funny (to me at least) entry, and so her super intelligent boyfriend apparently reads my livejournal (why he would read it i don't really know) and made a pretty hilarious comment on it...read
but anyway, obviously we're not dealing with a very smart cookie here, so he may think that coming to iowa city to "beat the livin' shit out of me, and then laugh at my faggot lil ass" is a rational decision and perhaps end up doing it.
Does anyone have any experience with any internet cretons and their creton like threats? has anyone ever seen someone follow through with anything like this before? I'm not really worried, mainly stunned that someone would think it was prudent to say that.
anyway, any anecdotes or stories of similiar nature you can offer to reassure me that this moron isn't going to come to iowa city and look for me would be great!
