Ah so are we going to have Team Red Bull USA then.

Solves the problem of having four contracted drivers then......

And with Mclaren looking to do the same and set up a second team, maybe the idea will catch on.

Amazing. The just fully entered F1 this year and now going to have the second rookie team. IT is even more amaze that they don't have manufacturer backing and how much money they have on their hand.

There are rumors doing the rounds that McLaren are looking at setting up a second team. There are still 2 avaliable team slots.

I think its only a matter of time before you see junior teams poping up backed by bigger manufacturers. Probably using year old components but helping their drivers develop within the series.

This is good to know.

Minardi is a cute team, but apart from it bringing some great new drivers into the sport, whats been the point in it?

Judging by how much improved RBR is this year, RBR USA or whatever its going to be called could be great!

There was a big news article on this in Autosport the other day. The Dubai backed McLaren junior team is now dead, but instead this one is supposed to have far eastern backing and would be in for 2007, with Wurz and McLaren protege Lewis Hamilton as drivers.

The current concorde agreement frowns upon second team ownership. And if a second team is owned then they don't get an extra vote on various issues. However, like any true F1 team, they would find a way to circumvent the rules.
