I use the BBC widget for Mac that gives me a choice of 10 BBC broadcasts, including the World Service. Works like a charm.

Sirius Satellite Radio

For those times I don't feel like bringing my receiver out of the car.

I've said it before and I'll say it again for a freebie, http://www.icebergradio.com/
is tops. I especially like their British Invasion station. They play an excellant variety of tunes from across the pond from mainly the 60's and some 70's. Their commercial load is light and, you don't have those hoaky obnoxious
over chatty DJ's that XM radio has.
I'm Zippyjet & I approve of this message!

Keeps me up to date with Grillstube Saloniki and Ähnie und Herr Bert!

Soma FM rules! Have been listening to them since 1999 or so and I really like them.

Mixing of Particulate Solids is also excellent, as well as Sleepbot.

Digitally Imported is also very good.

To access any of these stations and a lot more, check out SHOUTcast. It's all free.

Also, to record anything you hear off of SHOUTcast, download and install Station Ripper:

http://www.stationripper.com/

The free version will let you record two streams at a time and each song will be converted into its own MP3 file at the same bit rate it was broadcast and with the ID3 tag imbedded.

Pah! Sooo last millennium darling....

BBC are doing online TV soon...and not just individual programs to download. Live streaming of their output.

Isn't Sirius carrying the NHL this year? According to their website, they are.

I'll definitely agree that http://www.icebergradio.com/ is one of the best. Its free and easy to use.

If I have good bandwidth wherever I'm at, http://launch.yahoo.com/ has good radio stations too.

But, for the best internet radio, I usually pay for http://www.musicmatch.com/ and get their service.

Cheers!
