Your Forcast For The Outcome Of The German Elections

Mon Sep 19, 2005 12:10 am

Without going into details:

I suspect that it's going to be over the moment the first calculations come round, around 6:20pm that should be, and it's going to be CDU/FDP.

I just have a hunch that it's going to be clearer than the polls predict...of course if that hunch comes from the same place that predicts football results, we may have a sole Linke government with Lafontaine as Chancellor, Gysi as State Secretary and Petra Pau as Defense expert  Wink Big grin

So far it's been a beautiful day, perfect weather, the VfL Bochum is the leader of the 2nd Bundesliga, and my girlfriend is not here so that I can watch football....... but I guess that my mood will change rapidly after 6 PM because I also think that it's going to be CDU/FDP.

Oh yeah...and when they come up with a red-red-green, will you still laugh?

I won't....this is horrible, there are 2 possible coalititons that make my blood freeze!! (big and red-red-green). Please Schroeder go for traffic light...it's going to be difficult enough against a totally black Bundesrat!!

I am so glad that CDU/FDP didn't get the majority!

They say no!! Stupid fuckers!!!!!!!! I voted for you you morons!!! GO NEGOTIATE!!!!

So they WANT the big one....can't these idiots grasp the fact that Schroeder will NOT be junior to Merkel, and in a big one the Chancellor would ALWAYS be Merkel?

Do they have a right to say no ex ante?

First prelim result confirms the prognosis!

Well I guess Westerwelle in the end would say yes....since he'd be the second partner in a traffic light. Which would mean, Fischers job goes to the FDP...the Greens will not tolerate this!!

This doesn't look good...so we have to hope for a big coalition....terrible!
