Official A.net Magic The Gathering Thread

Wed Sep 21, 2005 8:33 pm

So who else indulges in throwing fireballs and lightning bolts at other people

I used to play a lot in college and recently I have introduced this game to my wife and it seems like old times again

My favorite card (2 in my deck, heheh) :

Seriously. Being a plane dork is one thing. Playing Magic the gathering takes it to a whole new level. I'm sure LHMark will be down, but he is the only one.

Acutally I head LHMark was more into Dungeons and Dragons.

Erikwilliam might be in though. He can get out his magical shirt and ear rings and bling your ass.

At least being a plane geek is being a geek about something with big engines that goes fast.

At least being a plane dork never earned me a wedgie in high school.. In fact, I was actually in a position to give a wedgie to the Magic card geeks in high school.. Pretty sad when they rank below the plane dorks.

I guess do whatever makes you happy. I just think it is funny there are people I can actually call geeks. AA61hvy can verify the fact that I am a geek.

I played it before I hit puberty. Then I discover women, and stopped playing. I recommend some of you do the same.

Ditto for me. I picked it up circa 1996/1997 or so, and was done with it by the next year. Once my balls dropped and I got a few curlies, I discovered there was more to life then hangin in the library with Ryan Collier during my lunch break playing magic! LOL!

Maybe the Magic card fruits are onto something.

Cards don't talk.

I need to hang out at A.net more.. I am in like the 95th percentile of coolness here.. That is extremely rare for me just about anyplace I go.
