F1 : Brazilian GP

Fri Sep 23, 2005 4:02 pm

So does Fernando and Renault get their first title ?

I certainly hope they will (me), who thinks Fernando goes for the win to boot ?

He will probably take the tittle this weekend - I wish Raikkonen would win it this year, but its pretty much over now.

Raikkonen WILL win the race though...

1) KR
2) FA
3) JB

I don't rate Jenson, but for some reason I have a feeling he might be strong this weekend.

The big question will it rain or not...? I hope so, two (?) years ago when it pissed it down and MS slid off - what a race that was !

It's all up to the Mercedes engine. Mclaren can take a 1-2 win as long as the engine doesn't fail. And hopefully Montoya won't mess it up in the final laps again...

So true.

Raikkonen and McLaren have been faster than Alonso/Renault this year (especially in the second half of the season), if you don`t get to the finish, you don`t get any points and McLarens (and especially Mercedes) reliability has been poor this year in comparison to the other teams.

Generally, the reliabilty of the other teams this year has been outstanding. Martin Brundle was putting it down to the teams not being able to touch the cars between qualifying and the race and so they weren`t taking the cars apart all the time.

Fernando will probably take the drivers title, but the title that means more to Ron Dennis is the constructors title and thats still wide open. A 1-2 for McLaren will put them in the box seat going into the last races to go hard for the constructors title.

Hopfully Kimi wins the race and Alonso has a bad showing so it can atleast be taken to the Chinese Grand Prix so we can all watch a clifhanger final race.

I do, go Fernando!!!!!!! But unless Kimi blows another engine and Montoya flies off the road again, McLaren 1-2 should finally be on the cards. (but how many races in a row have we been predicting this now?)

I hope it rains again ...  Smile

I hope not! Rain and Interlagos don't go well together.

interms of safety for drivers, yes. Interms of action, NO. Anyone remember Interlagos 2 years ago, that was an awesome race, apart from that Alonso got injured. Just amazing how Fisichella won in a Jordan. So, if it rains in Interlagos this weekend, i wouldn't be surprised to see Fisichella at the top step of the podium.

Cheers, Konstantin G.

I hope it rains profusely so that Tiago Monteiro can get a shot at it. But somehow I think that nowadays the Jordan is much weaker than it was a couple of years back.
Read this very carefully, I shall write this only once!
