Proper Way To Clean A Beard

Sat Sep 24, 2005 3:26 pm

I have recently grown a beard and its my first time maintaining facial hair and I was wondering the best way to keep it clean. Is soap or shampoo a better option?

I used to use shampoo, but one thing to be aware of is that shampoo may not be the best for your facial skin. When I have a beard (I go in and out of phases), I use my facial soap on it.

If it gets to the point that you think you may need shampoo then shave it off. Theres nothing more unattractive than ZZtopesque facial hair. In fact its making me sick thinking about it so imagine what its going to do to your love life. A goatee is stylish but should be kept short, seriously if its long enough to shampoo get rid. If you dont believe me go up to some women and ask them for a blow job whilst you have a long beard, I'm sure they will slap the hell out of you and you would deserve it for looking like a rapist, you know rapists have beards and long coats so you cant wear a long coat unless you want to look like a rapist or even worse, if you stand near a playground you will look like a peadophille! No, IMO beards are best rid, I mean what are you trying to hide exactly?

Just scratch and shake it over an open pizza box.

But I'm sure they wouldn't do that if you didn't have a beard, right?  Wink

I've found that a good pair of thighs does wonders for my beard. Wink
