Rita Makes Landfall

Sat Sep 24, 2005 4:44 pm

At 2:40AM CDT, so it's all downhill from here, except for the rain and flooding, and this should be the last of the hurricane threads for a while. Good luck to all in her path.

Best hopes for all that are in Rita's path . . . and for those that managed to get away, best hopes for your rapid and safe return . . .

Looks pretty nasty
liner, "me too!", "Good post Jim!", "I disagree" or similar message. This takes up time as readers must sort through these messages which have no real value to the group at large. Any message containing nothing more than a line or two of text is probably not worth posting.

If you have an opinion on a topic, you should in detail express why you have the opinion and what made you come to that conclusion.

She's supposed to collide with a nasty low/high? pressure system over central Texas. We are to expect wicked tornados and such.

So peace out and YEEHAW!!!
