Carling, Where?

Sat Oct 01, 2005 6:34 am

Hey guys

This is just a shot in the dark here, I am wondering if anyone has any idea where to get Carling in the USA. I am able to get Stella and Kronenberg but for some reason I have still been unsuccessful in my attempts to find Carling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

If I were you I wouldn't worry about it, it's only lager!!

Brought to you by someone who gave up on lager years ago (am I showing my age?!) and progressed to the warm, flat beer known on this side of the Atlantic as "Bitter"  old   bigthumbsup

P.S. - sorry I can't help!

BAV

I hear ya, trust me finding Carling is not a top priority of mine, it would just be nice to have one ya know. I usually get back home a few times a year and I have a few pints then, but it looks like I wont be back until mid next year. So I figured I would see if I can get it over here.

P.S. I cant stand bitter, LOL....

Yuk, you've come all the way over to the US and you're seeking Carling? Man that stuff's about as bad as Fosters. As an ex-pat myself I'm glad to have found a lot of places around Phoenix selling Stella. I'd rather go thirsty than drink Carling!

You can't beat a nice cold pint of Stones bitter or Newcastle Brown Ale. I never thought I would like it, but I sometimes prefer bitter to lager.

Sure is (or rather, will be in a few week's time). Can't wait for those sub-100 temps....

Not too cold, just nicely chilled, otherwise it gets too cold to drink.

Carling Black Label used to be a good selling beer in and was made in the USA back in the 1960's and 1970's. You might find it near the Canadian border, (Detroit area, Buffalo?)

Carling Black Label is a huge seller here, it is known as "Zamalek" among Black South Africans and is probably the biggest selling beer in that demographic.

Funny that is it known here as "America's Lusty, Lively Beer" but you can't find it in the States!

I'm not much for beer, but even I might pick up something that was "lusty"!

Not the best lager around, but it's usually the cheapest so if you like to watch your pennies, drink Carling. If not, then drink something decent like Stella  Wink

Carling Premier is quite nice I suppose....my favourite is still Carlsberg Export in bottles.

Stella tastes of soap.

Hey guys

Dont get me wrong I love Stella aswell, I just happen to like Carling also. We all know that the beer in the USA is no comparison to that of Europe and it would be nice to see some Carling over here. Although I must admit, since I moved to the west coast I have rather enjoyed drinking Fat Tire, Check it out here, which they dont sell on the east coast.
