Champions League Day 3 Groups E-H Results

Thu Oct 20, 2005 5:48 am

Tonight's results:

Fenerbahce - Schalke 3-3
Milan - PSV 0-0

Lyon - Olympiakos 2-1
Real Madrid - Rosenborg 4-1

Chelsea - Betis 4-0
Anderlecht - Liverpool 0-1

Rangers - Artmedia 0-0
Porto - Inter 2-0

Quick round up:

Surprising that Betis weren't stronger against Chelsea as their previous games in the champions league were of a pretty high standard. Inter's result is dissapointing as Porto aren't what they were two seasons ago. Lyon now with maximum points (9), practically certain of making the 1/8 finals.

Oh and forgot to say that the rangers have really shown that they aren't Champions league material and should be in the Uefa cup.

Pretty nice matchday!

I was surprised to see five goals in the second half of the Fenerbahce-Schalke game, the first half was rather boring.

Rangers should have been 5-0 up at half time but couldnt score to save themselves. Second half, they were shite.

4-0..... following the 5-goal frenzy at Bolton, Chelsea is doing superbly!

C'mon you Blues!

 Smile Boring Boring Chelsea!!!

You will not see a better midfield display all season than Essien last night, and a better cross all season than Sweep's for Crespo to bang in the fourth.

Quality.

Quoting GLAGAZ (Reply 6):
Rangers 1 - 0 Inter

Unlucky not to get a draw in the first game. Maybe not as unlikely as a lot of people think.. unless Inter suddenly hit a good patch, of course!
