Ever Been Kicked Out Of A Bar?

Sat Oct 29, 2005 8:03 am

Inspired by another thread...
Ever been kicked out of a bar, and for what reason?

Twice for me -

Dos Gringos, Scottsdale AZ. Blind drunk, was just about to wheel out some chat up lines on the barmaid and she called security. Next thing I know I'm being escorted off the premises

Some pub in the Barbican, Plymouth in the UK. Accused the landlord of watering down his beer. Likewise he got a security guy over there to see if I wanted to change my mind. I didn't, and it was time for me and the 5 or so others in my group to move on.

I got kicked out for being drunk and obnoxious after drinking too little.

Newport, RI. My associates and I were "invited" to leave since our Wild Turkey's & water never needed recharged except for the ice and water. We were (correctly) accused of having a bottle of W.T. concealed. Talk about cheap ***#!&^....

oh sure. twice for bringing in my own can of redbull--hey i was drunk and brought it with me--well they didnt want any of that!

another for getting into a verbal spat with a certain socialite and we both got kicked out. we ended up laughing when outside and went to another bar and started another fight "fake" but agitated others around us who got into it and then they were kicked out. that was an awesome night.

Yes, in Spain! I had a fight with some "UK" dude, a minute later the owner and some other guests took us out. We continued drinking later in another bar and forgot the fight. Big grin

If you're ever in Waco, we'll go to Crickets. 150+ beers on tap. Yummy!

I was on the second floor balcony, standing at the railing, talking to my friend. The ladies went to the restroom and left their purses on the table *dumb asses* I glanced over my shoulder and caught a guy with sticky fingers. I moved to restrain him, and he pulled a gun. So I threw him off the balcony. Though I am a well known patron there, considering the circumstances, they politely asked me to leave. It was like 1:55 a.m. anyway. Oh well, an understandable formality.

I got chucked out of a bar with a bunch of other students when we were on a Uni residential in Twickenham (2002) we spent 400 quid on food and piss between us, we got served a round of drinks and then the barman came out from around the bar and started grabbing our drinks straight back and told us to leave because we were drunk, one guy resisted and his wine glass broke showering glass and wine all over us.

Two of the girls then grabbed a 5 litre tub of olives and threw them across the bar floor, one guy ran into the kitchen and pinned the chef against the wall by his throat, I grabbed all the cell phones off the table and rescued the chef, the manger grabbed me and I told him that if he wanted to make money but not have to suffer drunk people that there was a hypocrisy in barwork that maybe he couldn't resolve.

He told me to fuck off or he'd call the police, I told him to go ahead and at the same time noticed that one of our crowd was rock-climbing up the front of the building in an attempt to steal the pub sign, I followed him to try to persuade him down, by this time the girls had trashed the toilets, the police were allegedly on their way and the bar had emptied.

We sat in the pavement waiting for paddy to come down (he did) and for the police to arrive, (they didn't).

One bloke rang his missus to ask if he could bring 18 friends home...you could hear her negative and prolonged response despite the phone being clamped to his ear.

All in all not a night I am proud of but it was fun at the time.

Nope, but have come close. And it was a dive bar/strip club. We ended up there one night as part of a bachelor party and the groom's brother started tossing his change at the strippers. Had he not run out of change, we all would have been chucked out.

I did with a group of people...we were in the Bar/Restaurant in Rome, and one of the guys I was with refused to remove his hat.

We weren't "thrown" out...they told us he had to take off his hat or leave.. He was an asshole who threw around "I'm an American" to everyone when he didn't get his way. We left in embarassment, and never went out with him after that again.

Yes once for fighting, and another for being underage (I had already been there 3 hrs, and was really drunk), the bouncer let me in easily, but when the manager saw me inside he called security!

Never been tossed out of a bar but I have seen one of my mates get in a huge fight with a bouncer. Wasn't even his fault. The bouncer was being a sh*thead and accused him of having too much to drink. I don't think one beer is too much. Maybe the bouncer had a few too many!

Yes I have, Arsenal went the season unbeaten, it was cause for celebration, was dancing and hugging and screaming at the top of my lungs with some rogues, they were also blowing a horn and it was a quite afternoon and a family restaurant is attached so needless to say the patrons in the restaurant complained.

What was too much was spraying champagne all around the bar in celebration and i wasnt even drunk.

Then we were ejected, and i called the person ejecting us retarded since he was removing some of his best customers. I was there every week to watch arsenal.

I do know a guy who got, not only kicked out, but arrested at The Blue Fox in Tijuana (donkey show) and spent the night in a Mexican jail in his Air Force 2nd Lieutenant dress blues.

He is a very dull individual today.

I got kicked out of a Champs sports bar in Virginia for being too drunk. The manager didn't want to lose his license for continuing to serve me when I was drunk!

I got kicked out of the Airport pub at MAN because a regular alcoholic spotter in there, took offence to me telling his boyfriend that he'd flashed his dick to another guy in a hotel corridor! The alcoholic was allowed to stay!

Actually I have heard a story (I don't know if it is true or not) of a Portuguese Air Force pilot who was on assignement in the U.S.A with a massive amount of expenses money to spend. One day he went to Mexico to get stupidly drunk. He doesn't remember what happened but apparently when he woke up he owned a Mexican brothel!

By far the funniest post i've read ALL DAY!!

Drinking at a bar in my home town and i get completely trashed... I'm in this bar, dancing away when the DJ thinks its funny to spray some foam into the dance floor, i cease to dance and concentrate on staying vertical... i slip... fall and smack my head on the ground forcing myself into concussion and a black out... cue me waking up outside this club attempting to get back in... when they refuse... i vomited on their door step right where the bouncers wait...

Buggers!

Unfortunately, too many times. I can't think of a case where it was my doing but then again it was probably karma being equalized for the times I should have been kicked out and wasn't. Here's the ones I can think of quickly:

1. Ex BF of then current GF gets in my face yelling and screaming etc. and tries to start a fight. Ignore, ignore, ignore ... until he tries to jump me, lead ahole Dr. to the door headfirst. Mgt asks me to leave as well.

2. Same GF(redheads are trouble I tell you!), and disgruntled friend who wanted to be her BF. Drunk SOB jumps me from behind with no warning of any sort. Similar resolution to above but much longer and bumpier way to the door plus he outweighed me by at least 75 lbs. Of course steps do make a good excuse to "trip" and fall on his head a few times.

3. Buddy of mine and I go to a bar in Zephyr Hills, FL with about a dozen Royal Marines on their last night in the US before heading home. They decide that hitting on girls attached to the biggest dumbest yokels will be good fun and end up starting a pile of fights. Note to yokels, drunk British Marines really enjoy kicking your asses! Needless to say, we were invited to leave as a group.

4. Several times in HS got caught underage and kicked out.

5. Not exactly kicked out, but managed to get cut off at a bowling alley one time. We had a big group and were buying pitchers. When we went to buy the third pitcher we were told that there was a limit of two per group. With a group of eight this doesn't go far. Solution, step outside, walk 100 yds to liquor store, go back, buy Cokes. More bang and less bucks so all is well.

6. Bar didn't appreciate a group of us playing Cardinal Puff and asked us to leave.

Probably a few others as well.

It is a better teaser than a story. We had a very long layover, it was a nice place (Red Lion) and we had a crew party. Someone complained. They thought perhaps we'd be happier at another hotel.

Hell, we didn't even leave pizza in their swimming pool like we did in Seattle!

Sounds about right, some barkeeps take sides ...

I've been asked to leave several places for doing "bar exercises". It was late, I was tired, and I began nodding off. Sometimes I'd be asked to leave ... now. Other times, I'd get a stern warning "WAKE UP!". One female bar keep clapped her hands right in front of me-loudly and shouted "WAKE UP!". It's quite embarrassing.

This is off the subject but here's an idea for a related thread. Every town has a "town drunk". I wonder who the A.net community's town drunk would be? Hmmmm.

Good day to all  Smile

I got kicked out once, but not through a fauklt of my own. I went to a bar with two American, a German and one Filipino colleagues. Now for myself, I don't drink much alcohol, after the second pint I stuck to coke, so I was sober, but especially the other german and the two Americans got quite drunk and became beligerent. At some time they tried to pick a fight with the bar man. The Filipino and I tried to calm the situation down, but in the end we all were kicked out, the Filipino and myself by association.
