Uni Students: What Classes Next Quarter/semester?

Wed Nov 16, 2005 12:43 pm

I just registered for my classes for winter quarter for my MBA program at Seattle University:

Mondays: Int'l. Ethics and Cultural Issues (satisfies ethics requirement)
Tuesdays: Managerial Economics (microeconomics)

How about you? If you haven't registered yet, what are thinking about taking?

What grades do you think you'll earn for this quarter/semester? For me:

Leadership/Team Development: A
Principles of Marketing: A-/B+ (if I do well on the final and group paper, an A)
And the winner for best actress is....REESE WITHERSPOON for 'Walk the Line'!!!!!!!!

I didn't know you went to Seattle U

I was on the faculty there up until last Summer. Too bad we didn't cross paths....

BTW, who's teaching the ethics course?

As for me, next semester I'm taking:

Pauline Letters (scripture)
Canon Law
Christian Social Ethics
Modern Church History.

I took a Business Calculus class in the Spring in order to get accepted in the MBA program. I could have started in the summer, but there wasn't much time, so I took the summer to have fun. My first quarter was this Fall.

I have classes Monday and Tuesday next term, and maybe we could grab a coffee at "The Bottom Line" in the lobby of Piggott? Seattle U. is quite possibly the best spotting location in Seattle... Wink

Michael Witty is teaching both the Int'l. class (BETH521) and MBA512.

If you're interested in doing both, many schools offer a joint MBA/JD degree. With that said, you would have to take both the GMAT and LSAT to be accepted into a program like that.

Damn...I should have looked at ERAU in Arizona back in '91...too late now...I already have my undegrad. degree, and from a great school as well. Still, I would have loved some of the classes that CVG777 and JetboyTWA are taking now.

I'm at the University Of Warwick in the third year of my Mathematics BSc degree.

My courses this year are:
MA390 Topics in Mathematical Biology
MA3D5 Galois Theory
MA3E5 History Of Mathematics
MA3F2 Knot Theory
PX326 The Weather And The Environment
PX350 Introduction to Synergetics
IB227 Industrial Relations
IB228 Principles Of Finance
IB320 Simulation

As you can see, not a great deal of actual maths this year - but I think the previous two years, in which I've done (or more like failed to do) the hardest pure maths I've ever come across kinda makes up for it.
Come fly with me, let's fly, let's fly away...
