Our house has three bedrooms, one bathroom, living room and kitchen. My bedroom is the coldest of the house. I'm gonna start keeping my door open during the day to try to get some heat into it while I'm at work. I have a radiator in it too, but somwhow it's still cold.

For the record, mines is very long and wide and stays warm due to all the heat from the sun and the lush bush on both sides keeps the heat locked in and very moist/damp.
San Francisco has a mild Mediterranean climate.

I have 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, fireplace, garage. What else do you want to know?

Our house is a four bedroom, two bathroom house. Just under 2000 sq. feet.

It's a backsplit with a good size lot, roughly 180' wide and 200' deep. Good for the kids to mill around. The front of the house is not as wide as the back as we are located on a court, so there is a tapered effect.  Wink

I live in a detached house in South Wales. We have 6 bedrooms, 3 bathroom's, two shower rooms, two living rooms, one dining room, a games room and a study. We have of course a kitchen. Adjacent to the house is a large double garage. As for land, we have around 2.5 acres of land all in all.

well where i live now which is at home with the parents because i am a big loser, the house is 8 bedrooms, 9 full bathrooms, two half-baths, six car garage, approx 7,500 sqft on 2 acres of land. it is really two houses. the main house which is 6,000sqft and a second house (with 2 bedrooms, two bath, kitchen, living room, dining, 1500 sqft) is attached as sort of a "wing" because it was built for my grandmother to live in, so my dad could keep an eye on her so to speak--this way she has her privacy, we have ours, and she feels like she lives in a maintenance free home.

being home is nice, but i have been living there for 4months now and previously i lived in NYC and london in small apartments...so being home where there are times when i have no clue if anyone else is in the house, well thats annoying/disconcerting.

Quite smallish... one master bedroom, two smaller bedrooms (where my brother and I reside), the livingroom and the dining room connected together and a small kitchen... and a small bathroom... one hallway and a little corridor... that's about it  Silly

Besides, the Med region is a desert. San Diego might rightly be called a Mediterranean climate, but not San Francisco or Seattle or Yakutat.

4 BR, 3 1/2 baths, ~3800 sq ft usable at the moment, after finishing a bit more of the basement out in the next 6 months it will be 5BR, 4 1/2 baths ~4500 sq ft.

Also, 500 sq ft front porch and 300 sq ft back deck

Yes, I over-reacted when I moved back south from NJ - didn't ever want to feel cramped again.

Too small. Unfortunately the house I would never have bought came with the property I wanted. I'd love to bulldoze it and start over but ain't gonna happen any time soon.

3 bedroom, 2 bath 2-car garage and five sheds. Should have been 1 bedroom, 5-car garage and a barn. The house does have some great improvements: Steel siding, steel roof, great woodburning insert for the fireplace, and some other stuff. Can't justify dumpstering it.

My house, built in the 1850s (predating the town of Garrett, IN), is an ex-funeral parlor! It has 14 rooms (including 5 bedrooms). When I was 3, our family of 10+ kids moved into it. It had been a funeral home during the mid-20th century, and was bought out by a rival funeral home in town. So it sat on the market for a while, since nobody wanted an old funeral home! (How superstitious humans are!) We had been looking for a house big enough to hold all of us. Desperate to sell it, the realtor accepted our parents' low bid on it. We've been there ever since! Now, only a tiny fraction of us are still there today; I still live there (when I'm home for the summer from studying in London).

The house still has its original casket platform lift in the garage, once used for raising and lowering caskets between the house and attached garage. My sister uses it now (she's in a wheelchair). There is also a detached garage--it's my woodworking shop (and holds my car). When we moved in in 1979, the house was still painted inside like a funeral home--ivory woodwork, fleur-de-lis wallpaper, and even a "crossing-over-the-river" mural painted on the wall in one room! The former casket showroom and chapels are now living areas. It has been repainted several times over--we did it all ourselves. My room, originally bright yellow, then beige, is now a lovely shade of light spring green (my favourite colour is green). We also added a wooden deck on the front, northwestern corner of the house so we could cook out. I do most of the barbequeing. My dog uses the generous fenced-in gravel back yard, with a big kennel to hold her.

This is surely a unique house, with a bit of a morbid history.

Two bedroom duplex, 1½ baths, livingroom, open kitchen (very soon te be refitted!), balcony, roof garden, garage, storeroom, beautiful views over the city centre - if you like that sort of thing. All in all 95 sq metres/1022 sq feet. Worth about €260,000.
