That means I do all kinds of paper shoveling for the attorneys in large commercial lawsuits and litigation. I work in the Met Life (former Pan Am) building.

Man could I swap stories . . . or my Father could . . . he was a railroader all his life . . . ended up running the WP&YR when it was the last Class 1 Narrow Gauge in the States/Canada. See www.whitepassrailroad.com . It's s tourist gig now - the #1 in Alaska - but still an awesome operation.

Here's pic of my Grandfather driving a GE90 Class . . . . (nope, not an airplane engine.

And here's a pic of Gramps result of attempting to jump a washout . . . my Father was the Boss . . . his question to Gramps after Gramps said: I thought I could get the lead loco across . . . . "What did you intend to do with the rest of the train?"

Bridge at 89 mile on the White Pass had washed out dut to a bit of a flood . . . "washout" . . . Gramps tried to jump said washout with a 60 ton locomotive - never mind the two trailing units and thirty cars of freight!

Originally intended to replace the Absolute Block boxes in the Stockport area, it will in fact replace Wilmslow and Sandbach boxes in March 2006. Currently we operate the relatively modest area formally controlled by Cheadle Hulme. I have been a signaller since 1992, and joined the railway 2 years previously.
