How do you like UC Boulder? I sent in my application about 2 weeks ago. Is Boulder a really large city? Admittedly, I did no research the school's surroundings.

Like Chris Farley, I am an alum of the college of communication. Plus sophomore year I lived on the same floor of the same dorm where he lived and was busted for pot during his sophomore year. Unlike Chris I was never caught.  wink

While debatable, South Carolina is truly the real USC. Hopefully we can all at least agree that orange and purple are hideous colors....

Nope, Boulder's a medium sized city, with about 100,000 people, but it feels much smaller than that...great public transportation, friendly people, beautiful scenery, we're right at the foot of the Front Range, so the mountains are pretty much at your doorstep...and if you feel the need for a large city, Denver is just 30 miles or so down the road and very easy to get to...I love it here!

I majored in Classics (Latin, Ancient Greek, Classical Civilizations) and took minors in French Literature and English at the University of Toronto. I was enrolled "in" Victoria University (once a separate institution in another town but now an integral part of the University of Toronto) but this meant relatively little, other than a small difference in my fees and maybe being entitled to that college's benefits. That college was just like the "homeroom" through which my enrollment, mail etc was officially handled. Had I been more active in campus life, Victoria may have been more significant for me. I started in September 1998 and finished my last exam IIRC in May 2002, formally graduating in November of that year.

In the first semester of 2003, I also took a psychology course at Ryerson University.

Yeah right - why don't you go to www.usc.edu and see which one pops up? Or how about take a look at USNews rankings:

America's Best Colleges 2006

30 Univ. of Southern California

109 Univ. of South Carolina – Columbia

Or see which team won the college football tournament for the last two years in a row.

You may have been established earlier, but we obviously registered the USC domain name before you.

I don't know what you mean by orange and purple being ugly colours, are those carolina's colours? USC is cardinal and gold.

University of Cambridge (Trinity Hall): Law (LLB)

University of Birmingham: Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (LLM)

University of Wales: PhD based on the efficiency of a criminal justice institution. Had completed one year, then postponed it.

I am considering undertaking another undergraduate degree in the next few years, but this time in a radically different - and very appealing - area: Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies. I could do this at either the University of Exeter, the University of Leeds, or the University of St. Andrews.

Economics, with marketing and logistics as majors. Got a very good job offer in 2000 and decided to quit my studies without diploma. Didn't regret this decision until today. There's only 2 things about my economics studies that I regret:
- I started them,
- I didn't quit early enough...  Smile

I'm currently at the University of Minnesota at the College of Biological Sciences. My planned major is biochemistry, but I have a choice now to double major, or to finish my biochemistry major in just 3 years. My classes this semester are chemistry, biology, math (calculus II), and history or rock and roll (fulfilling musical requirement for medical school). I would like to attend medical school after I get my degree, so I'm working my hardest to get straight A's!
