Wsis In Tunis : How Far Is It Successful?

Fri Nov 18, 2005 2:13 am

Yesterday started the WSIS in Tunis and i have to say that i am disappointed by the absence of major head of states !!! Neither Chirac nor Blair,Bush,Schroder,Putin or Mubarek are present to shoulder Kofi Anan. The issue is important for the UN and all the industrialized countries as well as,of course, the emerging ones.

To my point of view, the only winner is Israel which had its PM officially visiting the country for the first time  Wink

Did Anan fly to Tunis right from Cairo? I know he was visiting with Mubarek a few days ago in Cairo. Any shots for the airports of these guys arriving? :P

I heard that an "internet shutdown" was avoided at this meeting, or maybe that was something else, do you know anything about that?
