I don't think he is a particularly good president for your country but what i dislike is that it seemed to have gotten popular just to say "I hate Bush".
A lot of people who don't have any knowledge about politics anyway try to get attention by spreading and repeating this common disease.
I still don't like him but i hate this hate campaign which still takes place and is just so opportune.

Hi all,

I am personally sick of all this anti-American feeling in much of Europe, as 'Jush' correctly says it is just an easy and popular thing to do to mock the US and/or Bush.

I for one like America and American's, always have and always will. I also support President Bush, not a popular thing to admit in Euro fairyland, but there we go.

Cheers

Good to hear that Ben. While I don't support Bush, it is refreshing to hear that coming from one of our friends across the pond!

Bush is very clumsy and some
of the negative he has brought upon
on himself.But knowing the history
of republican and democrat presidents,
A republican president have been know
for excelling in foreign(defense) policy while
democrats in domestic.
For that,I give Bush high marks.
Most enemy elements of the US won't mess
around with a republican in office.Clinton/Cater foreign policy
was a joke.
I always wondered. If Nixon was the President over
Kennedy, would the Soviets have tried to put missiles
in Cuba.

Fine. I wonder if we'd be here today to post about them. As for Clinton's foreign policy - he didn't piss off most of the rest of the world, which GWB has been highly successful at. I do not agree a foreign policy that is not supposed to be "tough", but thoughtful, is a "joke".

What did Clinton do wrong??

Apart from shagging a member of staff in the White House, but even that doesn't count as doing something wrong in my book.

Simple. Still 3 years and 3 months to go until his exit from the White House. The US-Americans then, in spite of their obvious DISlike for intelligent persons, vote some intelligent individual into the White House .

I really don't care for the guy...but its after 4 years since we had the 9-11 attacks and our Nation's and World's econmomy its at its all time highest...And thats within 4 years sinc the attacks...Give the guy some credit...

In 2006 estimated 300,0000 new jobs will be created and our Nations unemployment rate is down to about 45%...And the Nation's overall crime rate is down by 80% about...

The man has guts I should say....I think he;s doing a great jogb as far as the economy goes..

But I do not agree with his war on Iraq tactics at all...Its all for Oil and the main reason for this war in Iraq was to boost up the economy and guess what??? It has been sucessful ever since the war.

As was said very correctly, jumping on the "I hate Bush" bandwagon is quite popular today all over. Most people in Europe (the ignorant ones) could not even tell you about the man other than Bush bad, Bush lie on Iraq, and Bush from Texas.

delusional sociopathic administration.
He's an unelected fraud who invaded a country that had not
struck at the US and slaughtered tens of thousands of inncoent
civilians and troops. How do you explain to the parents of a
dead family member that their son/daughter etc died so that
Iraq could be transformed from a secular state where the water ran
into an Islamic theocracy client state of Iran where the basics of
life are unavailable. Bush has succeeded in transforming Iraq from
a secular regime (admittedly brutal) that was opposed to AlQueda into
a hotbed of terrorist activity and training which is now being exported
to the west. The damage Bush has caused by his betrayal of democratic
and moral principles is incalculable.
Instead of calling for staying the course with the help of a spineless media

It does not matter what we think. He is president and will probably serve out his term. I think his brother would have made a better president, he, it seems, can communicate his ideas with confidense and not come across as an inept leader.

Well, technically he has - I don't know of any terror attacks on US soil since 9/11. However, the two huge setbacks are that US armed forces are not one bit safer and that "Westerners" in general remain under a higher risk of attack, as seen in numerous places around the world.
