Has Anyone Been To Pierrot, Mandarin Oriental HK?

Mon Nov 21, 2005 8:28 pm

Pierrot was a traditional French fine dining restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong. Very formal. A pity they changed it to Vong (They plan to change it back to traditional French fine dining again) in 1996 and Vong lacks the class/tradition/finest.

Has anyone been to Pierrot? Comments? Been there a few times when I was young. Very nice and high class indeed. Service was excellent. I prefer Gaddi's (Peninsula Hong Kong), Petrus (Island Shangrila Hong Kong) as well as Plume (Gone. Intercontinental Hong Kong). Very costly though. Once in a while it's ok.

I love French cuisine like goose liver, baby pigeon etc......
