Franz Ferdinand- Anyone Seen Them Live?

Wed Nov 23, 2005 8:01 pm

Hi everyone
I was lucky enough to see Franz live at the Aberdeen exhibition center on Monday night. Anyone else seen them live?
Unfortunately I've got my standard grade estimates on at the moment, I had modern Studies the morning after and I had a pounding headache, LOL.
I got tons of evils from this guy in front of me that was just along with his girlfriend, she was having a great time jumping but he was standing there like terminator n kept on turning round giving me evils.
They're playing in Glasgow tonight, Manchester on the 26th, Newcastle 27th, Nottingham 28th and London from the 30th-3rd.
Non-British Anetters do you know Franz Ferdinand, I don't know how big they are over the world but they are pretty big in Britain.
Thanks

Of course I know Franz Ferdinand, as I bought the 2nd album the day it came out. They are just great, their 2nd album is just as great as the first one.

They are pretty popular in Germany, but pleeeaase: Don't sing German  Wink

Ja weiss ich.  Wink
I think I was the only half German at the concert, I was the only one shouting as loud as I could "ich heisse super fantastisch, ich trinke schampuss mit lachs fisch" Big grin
They are in Munich on the 12th of December, you should try and get tickets.

Saw them twice last year, once so far this year.

Always good, put the effort in, there are a plethora of good groups around right now (including Kaiser Cheif's, Hard-fi, Maximo Park, British Sea Power, The Coral, The Subways, The Rakes, Bloc Party, Razorlight, Kasabian, Killers, The Futureheads, I'm just picking out bands that have emerged in the last coupe of years here).
I'm been to more gigs this year than ever before.

But Franz Ferdinand are a class act, both live and recorded.
