average fuel economy - 29 mpg
0-60 in about 9.5 seconds, top speed of approximately 195 km/h.

other than that, it's bone stock, rust-free, and in fantastic condition.

And if anyone is interested, it's for sale, since I just bought a new car...

1988 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC European model

Navy blue with dark grey leather interior
89,000 km

Estimated fuel economy - 16 mpg

My favorite being:

Black Chrysler 300C Hemi 5.7L V8, 340 HP
Fully loaded (everything Chrysler offers for the car) and also fully customized.

Soon to come as in for Christmas:

Black Chrysler 300C SRT8 Hemi 6.1L V8, 425 HP. Leaving that baby untouched. Only lowering it and putting a two-tone paint job (looks better and distinguish it from my other black 300C) Will also be fully loaded with only Chrysler factory items. No outside customizing (besides paint job)

Yes, I LOVE THOSE CARS!  Big grin

Four doors, Four wheels, grab handles for mum and dad, bright yellow Learner plates, forgiving brakes and a decent insurance policy. Luckily - and I mean very luckily a few times - the last item hasn't yet been needed and I'm hoping to keep it that way.

It's a flat 6. The 4.0l flat-6 engine is the old Cherokee engine but with 24-valves rather than 12. The engine has electronic injection. Even so, it's a 30yr old design. It is a bad.

I usually need 19.5lts every 100km city use, 14lts on the road and 16.1lts going top speed.

Cheers! wave

As I see some of us Here have a sports car and / or a gas guzzler , and a eco friendly car.
Who else here has 2 cars?

I love the power of the Beetle but is completely useless in city traffic, hence I spend4 days a week in the 206 and 3 on the Bug...

Lots of testosterone here, I'll tone it down a little:

Peugeot 206 1.6 16v 110pk
0-100 km/h 9.5 seconds
top speed 196 km/h or 122 mph
average petrol consumption 14.9 km/l
CO2 emmissions 159 gram/km

Don't worry you're not alone. And yours is already quite good.

Mine:
Peugeot 205 XS

- Engine: 1.4 - 85 bhp - single twin-choke
- Performances:
. * Acceleration:0-100km/h - 0-62mph = 9.5s
. * Top speed: 178km/h - 110mph (I've done 190 on speed indicator)
- Fuel consumption: City 8 to 12 liters/100km or 33mpg (and I thought it was consuming a lot, you US SUV owners are really environment unfriendly  Wink )

The MOST important thing is the pleasure of driving: UNBEATABLE. First, you have a choke, which means that you have as much fuel injected as you push the accelerator, you don't have any electronic injection calculating the optimal in term of consumption/perf/emissions... Today's cars can be very frustrating, they are sterilized.

+ This car can beat a lot of powerful cars in acceleration. I like it when people think they have a more powerful car and are beaten because this one doesn't look powerful. Examples: Peugeot 306 XSi (2.0), Ford Fiesta 1.4Si 16v Zetec, Ford Probe 2.0i 16v, Subaru Impreza 1.8, Mazda MX5 Miata 1.6i, BMW 316i, VW Golf GTi Mk3,  tongue  ...

LOL! I have tested it on a highway here, too, and reached 175 kmph. However, since the engine seemed to be doing alright I thought the maximum speed should be around 190 kmph. Now I must test it again!  Smile

Anyway, really nice little car!
