F1 Winter Testing, Any A.netters Attending?

Mon Nov 28, 2005 6:27 pm

For those who like F1 but who are either tight or Scrooges like me, there is the solution of attending winter testing.

For example I am seriously thinking of winging it to BCN then paying 5€ for a day's access  Smile

Would anyone else be up (or at Silverstone when it happens) ?

Well it would be nice if they did some hot weather testing in this part of the world.

Unless Williams decide to call me up at short notice, no I won't be attending  Silly

Hell yes, as long as the dates are okay and flights prices are ok.

I was thinking about going to the San Marino GP...but tickets are bit expensive for the seat I want!

I refuse to be a fan after the debacle in the US. I'm now trying to concentrate more on pornography and beer.

If any of you end up going, could you find it in your hearts to record a short video or audio clip of the cars? I'm dying to know what the new V8's sound like, and I haven't been able to find a clip online anywhere.

How do you find out more info about winter test days and public hours / times / prices?

Unfortunately I'm going to Europe in March / April after the season has started and the cars are on the other side of the world, otherwise I'd definitely be up for it.

Not on the ovals at all ... actually I wouldn't mind seeing NASCAR racing on the superspeedways without restrictor plates ...  thumbsup

It doesn't matter to me. I'm not a fan of either.
