Multiple New Year's Days!

Sun Dec 25, 2005 4:26 am

Some years ago, I was flying westbound on December 31, and, yes, I got to celebrate New Year's Day across a number of timezones. I don't remember how many, but I think it was at least two or three.

They gave out free champagne every time it was New Year's!

That was the coolest thing ever!  Smile

Anyone else have a similar experience?

Didn't they do a special flight with Concorde a few years ago that gave the passengers this same experience?
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

^^I don't know, but that would be the ultimate experience! Imagine flying at Mach 2 and catching so many new time zones right at 12:00 a.m. January 1.  Smile It's too bad the Concorde is out of business right now.

Or you could just wait a couple of weeks and pretend to be Orthodox Christian.
