The Return Of Ms. France!

Wed Dec 28, 2005 9:18 am

Yes, this is the same girl whom I was talking about in this thread a while back...

http://www.airliners.net/discussions/non_aviation/read.main/852314

No, I never made it to Lyon. You can blame that on Katrina. But, I've been keeping in touch with her via email since she went back to France in June. Usually a couple of emails a month is the norm, with maybe a little more than that after the hurricane hit. But this latest email I got just floored me.

She's coming back to New Orleans from 1/5 to 1/23. She'll be staying at her aunt's place in the French Quarter.

It'll be really agreeable to see her again, and i'll be curious if she ended up missing me as much as I missed her. Who knows?

Stay tuned for details.

I think I speak for the whole board when I say we need pictures.
Things were better when it was two guys in a dorm room.

I don't have a creepy bone in my body.

Well, in that case, the last thing I want to do would be to let you and the board down.

OK....you glutton for punishment.

Hold not an obvious hope in your heart so that when you see her she will wonder whether you sitll feel that way. Take her out, have fun, and see what she does with a couple of Sazzeracs.

Remember, French girls are a little different in the dating thing....

Good luck there, dude.

I think the fact that you started this thread might suggest otherwise.

And don't even tell me you listened to 'Heartbreaker' on repeat and thought of her when she took off. That would be REALLY creepy. Oh, why do they leave?  Wink

Well, "Heartbreaker" is a bloody brilliant record. But at that time, I think the record of the moment was "Cold Roses" and the song of the moment was "Now That You're Gone". Although I could be mistaken.

Don't sweat it, have a good time - but don't wear your heart on your sleave.
