Help With Older Topic

Wed Dec 28, 2005 11:53 pm

A while ago (month or so) someone posted a topic about a website that we would add a dot on the map representing where we live. Does anyone remember the link? I tried the search function, but can't remember the title of the topic.

Thanks for your help.

regards,
Richard

Hi Richard

one way is to use the Great Circle mapper

for example

use the following entry ( you have to start with "< img scr " and finish with " > " - but dont use the inverted commas )

to produce the following map showing AKL and BRU - you just replace akl and bru with the point(s) you want to show

Thanks kiwi, that's one of the ones i was looking for. The other one was similar to google maps with the inverted water drops. Thanks for such a quick answer, though!

richard

I know the map he means, it put little flags on the map to show where you are and you can put your name and a comment, I searched back through the archived topics but couldn't find anything.

I searched "map" and "live" in the older topics going back to January but didn't find anything, maybe something more obscure in the search might turn something up.
