It Is The Year 2005...

Fri Dec 30, 2005 7:04 pm

and if you remember your cartoon history, this is the year when the Decepticons and the Autobots fought their largest duel ever at Autobot City, where Optimus Prime died (later, we found out, slipped into a coma) and Megatron sustained damages beyond repair until he was subsequently turned into Galvatron by the planet/robot Unicron after Starscream dumped him into space upon their return to Cybertron after the duel on earth.

so, with that being said, any other Transformers fans out there?

i've been up all night watching the box sets which i got for christmas. god how i loved this series.

they have the whole series up from the Autobots & Decepticons coming onto earth up through the headmasters & targetmasters episodes on dvd in about five different box sets. once you pop one in, you can't stop. i've been watching them all in order for about 3 days now. totally re-addicting.

as a kid, i had almost every single last one of the toys, too. they're still at home in a big chest.
